Preparation]
A. Disconnect negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least 30 seconds.
B. Remove the Driver Air Bag(DAB) module.
C. Disconnect connectors of Passenger Air Bag(PAB), left and right side airbag, belt pretensioner.
D. Disconnect connector of SRS control module(SRSCM)
1. Measure DAB resistance between DAB high(30/S-01) and low(29/S-01)
Release airbag activation prevention mechanism on SRSCM side of airbag squib side.Connect the dummy (0957A-38200) to clock spring side connector.
Test Condition : Ignition "OFF" & Engine "OFF"
Specification : 1.6~4.1Ω
2. Is resistance display near the specified value?
YES
Go to Step "3. DAB Squib Circuit Inspection" procedure
NO
Go to Step "2. Clock Spring Circuit Inspection" procedure
Clock Spring Circuit Inspection
3. Measure clock spring resistance between DAB high(1/S-02) and low(2/S-02)
Release airbag activation prevention mechanism on SRSCM side of airbag squib side.Connect the dummy (0957A-38200) to clock spring side connector.
Test Condition : Ignition "OFF" & Engine "OFF"
Specification : 1.6~4.1Ω
4. Is resistance display near the specified value?
YES
Repair or replace harness or connector between SRSCM and clock spring and go to "Verification vehicle Repair" procedure among the tree on the left-hand side of the window.
NO
Replace clock spring and go to "Verification vehicle Repair" procedure among the tree on the left-hand side of the window.
DAB Squib Circuit Inspection
[Preparation]
1) Turn ignition switch OFF
2) Disconnect negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least 30 seconds.
3) Connect the DAB module.
4) Connect negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least 30 seconds.
[Check]
5. Turn ignition switch to ON, and wait at least 30 seconds.
6. Clear DTC stored in memory with Scantool
7. Turn ignition switch to LOCK, and wait at least 30 seconds.
8. Turn ignition switch to ON, and wait at least 30 seconds.
9. Using scantool, check DTC.
10. Is DTC display again?
YES
Replace DAB and go to "Verification vehicle Repair" procedure among the tree on the left-hand side of the window..
NO
Go to Step "4.Terminal and connection inspection" procedure
Terminal and Connector Inspection
1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system may caused from poor harness and terminals. These faults can be caused by interference from other electrical systems and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Check the following conditions:
(1)
Check for damaged harness and terminals: contact resistance, oxidation, bent or broken terminals.
(2)
Check for poor connection between SRS control module and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks and poor terminal to wire connection
Using a suitable male pin to ensure that contact in sockets is good. The pin should remain in position when pulled gently.
Two security mechanisms of the DAB are the twin-lock mechanism and anti-deploy mechanism. The Anti-deploy mechanism prevents unexpected deployment by the shortening of the two squib terminals.The twin-lock mechanism connectors (male and females) are fastened by two locking devices to increase connection reliability. If the primary lock is incomplete, ribs will prevent the secondary lock from coming apart.
3. Is a problem found?
YES
Repair as necessary and go to "Verification vehicle Repair" procedure among the tree on the left-hand side of the window.
NO
Go to "Verification vehicle Repair" procedure among the tree on the left-hand side of the window.
Попробуй разобраться, переводить некогда, а вообще это скорее всего разъем на "улитке" проверь состояние всех к ней подходящих, была такая темка.......
