P1181(General) Fuel Pressure Monitoring Malfunction
1. Running condition of the engine. (Monitoring is possible only when the engine RPM is above 700rpm)
2. C005 Above pressure limit valve: Determine as error if rail pressure remains above 1480bar for the duration of 0.3 second and normal if normal output is maintained for the duration of 655 seconds.
3. C006 Below min. rail pressure per engine RPM: Determine as error if the rail pressure is lower than the min. per relevant engine RPM 120bar => 800rpm / 180bar => 2000rpm / 230bar => 3000rpm / 270bar => 4000
The above errors can be monitored only after the turning the ignition ON
4. C008 Adherence of the open state of the fuel pressure control valve: If the actual rail pressure is higher than the target value by certain amount, it is recognized as the full open state of the pressure control valve. 350bar => 800rpm / 300bar => 2000rpm / 250bar => 3000rpm The possible causes are mechanical adherence, open circuit of wiring, short circuit to the ground, etc.
5. C010 Below appropriate rail pressure per engine RPM: Determined as error if the actual rail pressure is lower than he target value by certain amount while maximum amount of fuel is supplied as allowed by the pressure control valve per engine RPM
(300bar => 800rpm / 250bar => 2000rpm) The possible causes are excessive fuel leakage, insufficient supply pressure of low pressure fuel, wear and damage of high pressure pump, poor contact of ground circuit, etc.
